Mrs. Tracey Mason named assistant principal at McCool Elementary Middle School

GUAM - DoDEA Pacific West District Superintendent Dr. Jacob Sherwood is pleased to announce the selection of Mrs. Tracey Mason as assistant principal at McCool Elementary Middle School.
Mrs. Mason is thrilled to join the McCool Seahawks and is eager to contribute her expertise to the exceptional teaching and learning already taking place at McCool Elementary/ Middle School. She brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong commitment to supporting student success.
Mrs. Mason earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Morris Brown College, a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University, and an Educational Leadership Certification in Administration and Supervision from the University of West Georgia.
With over 30 years of experience in education, Mrs. Mason has worked in various public-school districts, including Palm Beach County, DeKalb County, Gwinnett County, Clayton County, Greene County, Shelby County, Hawaii Public Schools, and the Abu Dhabi Education Council. In 2017, she began her tenure with the Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) as a teacher. Throughout her career, Mrs. Mason has assumed numerous leadership positions, such as Gifted Coordinator, Instructional Facilitator, Professional Learning Coach, Federal Program Specialist and Continuous Improvement Chair. She is dedicated to inspiring every student to pursue their dreams with determination and enthusiasm.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Mrs. Mason enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family, close friends, and her beloved dog. She has a passion for hiking, gardening, and traveling, as well as an interest in engaging with new individuals to gain insights into different cultures.
