Welcome Back to School

Welcome to a new school year at McCool!

We are excited to welcome our students, families, staff, and community partners back for another year of learning, growth, and connection. We believe strong schools are built through strong partnerships, and we are grateful for the support of everyone who contributes to our school community.

Together, We RISE

This year, our schoolwide theme is Together, We RISE.

RISE represents the values that will guide our students and staff throughout the year:

R — Respect
We value every person and treat others with kindness, dignity, and care.

I — Integrity
We do the right thing, take responsibility for our choices, and learn from our mistakes.

S — Success
We come prepared, give our best effort, set goals, and celebrate growth.

E — Empower
We encourage others, offer support, use our voices positively, and help everyone feel included.

These expectations will be taught, modeled, practiced, and reinforced throughout our school. Students will hear consistent language from staff, receive recognition for demonstrating the RISE values, and have opportunities to reflect and grow.

Families can support RISE at home by asking:

• How did you show respect today?
• When did you demonstrate integrity?
• What progress did you make?
• How did you encourage or empower someone else?

We look forward to partnering with you throughout the school year. Please continue to visit our website for school announcements, important dates, family resources, and upcoming events.

Every student. Every day. Together, we RISE.
