School Supply List

Dear Parents and Guardians, Welcome! Below you will find the official School Supply List for the school year. We appreciate your support in helping our students start the year prepared and ready to succeed. Thank you for being a valued part of our school community!

McCool EMS Supply List

Please Note: 

  • Teachers may request additional supplies throughout the year to support and enhance the classroom environment. Teachers will notify parents if additional items are needed.
  • Please save your receipts, as not all teachers may require every item. 
  • For health and safety reasons, students are NOT permitted to share food (snacks/lunch from home).
  • All students are required to wear pants/shorts and sneakers during P.E. class. 
  • Please label all supplies with your child's name.

Pre- K

  • One backpack or book bag large enough to hold a file folder and oversized books (no wheeled backpacks, please).
  • Two boxes of crayons (24-count): one to be used at the beginning of the school year and one for mid-year replenishment.
  • Two packages of colored pencils: one at the beginning of the school year and one for mid-year replenishment.
  • One watercolor paint set.
  • One to two pocket folders (plastic or vinyl preferred for durability).
  • One complete change of clothes, labeled and placed in a resealable bag.
  • One reusable water bottle, clearly labeled with your child’s name.

Classroom (Shared Supplies)

  • One package of pre-sharpened jumbo pencils.
  • One package of dry erase markers (multi-color sets are preferred).
  • One package of washable markers.
  • Four to eight glue sticks.
  • Two boxes of facial tissues.
  • Two packages of paper towels.

Kindergarten

  • One backpack or book bag large enough to hold a file folder and oversized books (no wheeled backpacks, please).
  • Two boxes of crayons (24-count): one for the beginning of the school year and one for mid-year replenishment.
  • Two packages of colored pencils: one for the beginning of the school year and one for mid-year replenishment.
  • One watercolor paint set.
  • One pair of child-safe blunt-tip scissors.
  • Three pocket folders (paper folders only; please no plastic or vinyl).
  • Two primary composition journals with drawing space.
  • One complete change of clothes, labeled and placed in a resealable bag.
  • One reusable water bottle, labeled with your child’s name.
  • One pair of personal, wired headphones (NO Bluetooth; plug-in, over-the-ear headphones are preferred).

Classroom (Shared Supplies)

6th - 8th Grade

  • One backpack large enough to hold a binder, books, folders, and notebooks.
  • One 3-inch zipper binder (required for 6th grade).
  • One supply pouch to fit inside the binder.
  • Three binder dividers without pockets labeled: Take Home and Return, Extra Paper.
  • One package of colored pencils.
  • One package of washable markers.
  • One package of pencils.
  • One package of blue or black pens.
  • One package of red pens.
  • One package of highlighters.
  • Glue sticks or liquid glue.
  • One pair of scissors.
  • One planner or spiral notebook to be used as a planner inside the binder.
  • One ruler.
  • Two composition notebooks: one for Math and one for Science.
  • One five-subject notebook (Math).
  • Four three-pronged folders with pockets:
    • 1 for ELA
    • 1 for Social Studies
    • 1 for Science
  • Loose-leaf paper for folders and binder.
  • One drawstring bag or small bag for P.E.
  • Eight binder dividers for organizing binder sections.
